Joe's Pizza is a go-to on Saturday nights. Michigan and Ann Arbor, from what I've seen so far, is a great place to be. What do you like about Michigan/Ann Arbor from what you've seen so far? A. I wasn't too into it until about third grade, then I started taking training more seriously and went from there. I was introduced to wrestling by my dad when I was pretty young. How did you first get involved in wrestling?Ī. The NROTC program at Michigan was a big factor, too, as with this I knew I'd be able to achieve my goals in wrestling with one of the best programs in the country and at the same time pursue my lifelong goal of becoming a fighter pilot. The wrestling program spoke for itself, everyone trains with a get-after-it attitude, everyone supports each other and wants to win, the support for the program was unlike anywhere else I'd visited, so I knew that with my goals that was for sure the environment I wanted to put myself in. Michigan has some of the best academic programs in the country, so no matter what major I ended up pursuing it would be top tier. I was attracted to Michigan for a few reasons.
